I have had this lovely Heard 28 Falmouth Working boat on for a few months. However, the owner has now had a complete hull respray in Awlgrip and is open to offers on the boat. She will look stunning afloat!

Reductions and New Arrival

My Elan 43 has just been reduced to only 32,000 Euros which is a fantastic price and I am sure she will sell in the next couple of weeks. Also today I listed a very nice Archambault A35 which are well regarded mid size race boats that can also be fast cruisers.

Early start and a great day to be on the water!

Perhaps I didn't mention my other day job as a professional skipper. Today was a great job changing the sails over on a 53M superyacht. 2 tonnes of sails taken off and replaced at Port Pendennis. Not sure of the $$$ but it must have been a LOT! Thankfully the new ones were very nicely stacked by North Sails.

Listed today (Sunday!) a very nice Formosa 68 New Horizons from 1989 which underwent a major refit in 2015. She is fully loaded with equipment and would make an ideal charter vessel or large family cruising yacht. Mini 6-50 Magnen Proto - Satanas

Takes me back to when Alex Bennett and I put together the first Fujifilm boat project in the UK. These boats are just awesome fun and for a small boat they are surprisingly nimble along with a toughness of much bigger yachts. Satanas was a progressive Proto and potential winner.

Friday night is Race night

Lovely evening racing in the Roads and the Bay. A short start line saw boats pushed up and there was a general recall. The breeze held up and Team Insatiable took line honours and second overall in the series. Good to have Mike Relling on board with the new Asymetric. Also took a Mirror dinghy under tow on the way back to the marina!

Rainy Friday what's to do?

Plenty of Cornish sunshine (rain) around today so a good opportunity to go through the web site and do some tidying up and SEO tuning. Added some new pages to cater for the services that Yacht Brokers World offers and this can be found on the main nav bar with drop downs. Two viewings arranged for next week and two new boats to list today. A Formosa 68 and a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 DS. Both customers kind enough to send a good selection of photos. Just hope the rain clears for Friday night IRC racing!

Falmouth to Roscoff Race

Enjoyed a great race from Falmouth to Roscoff in France last weekend aboard the J122 Black Dog. It was a long race due to very light winds throughout the overnight race but this was offset by a new breeze in the morning sunshine. This carried us into Roscoff under the A2 and Staysail to take line honours.
