Classic mahogany day sailer

A beautiful classic mahogany day sailer constructed in Scandinavia and now restored to a very high standard.

She is thought to be a Princess ‘23’ or a smaller version of Borresen’s Dragon. Her age is unknown but she has been on the Clyde since 1979. Her previous owner, a time served boat builder (retired) acquired her in 2006 and took to restoring her to her former glory. This involved the removal of the keel and replacement of keel bolts. The hull was completely re-fastened. A number of deck beams being replaced along with the deck, covering boards and king plank. The hull and mast were completely stripped back and re-varnished and the hull varnished/painted and anti-fouled. A task which was not completed until 2012.
Subsequently sold to the current owner she has been kept on a swing mooring during the season. Being stored ashore and professionally maintained annually. Roller reefing has been fitted to the foresail and a kicking strap appropriate for her mainsail roller reefing system added.
Lying: Scotland, UK. £10,000. Tax  exempt.
